Car Hire Conditions:
At least 7 days of rental is required for Antalya airport and 40 Euro surcharge is applied.
Prices include VAT.
1 day = 24 hours; An additional 1-day vehicle hire fee is applied for delays exceeding 3 hours.
Group D vehicles have a minimum rental of 5 days, Group E-F vehicles have a minimum rental of 7 days.
All vehicles have unlimited mileage (km) and insurance (includes cover for damage to windscreens, tyres and lights)
A second driver may be added with no charge.
Child seats are provided free of charge if specified in advance. Please specify the ages of any children so we can arrange for an age appropriate child seat to be supplied.
No guarantee can be made for the vehicle model selected for car rentals as this is subject to availability; If there is no availability, another vehicle within the same group can be provided; If it is not possible, a higher category vehicle will be provided.
Driving licence and age
Drivers must be a minimum age of 21 years old and produce a full, valid British or EU driving licence held for at least 1 year. It is the driver's responsibility to ensure that he/she has the appropriate driving licence. Please note that if you have a new photo card driving licence you will no longer require the paper counterpart.
What is excluded
Fuel is excluded from car hire rates. Insurance excludes cover for theft of radios, spare tyre, Jak, tools etc.
Traffic Fines
Legal responsibilities resulting from traffic violations incurred during the rental period are charged to the renter. The speed limit is 50km (30 miles) per hour in built up areas and rises to 90km (56 miles) per hour on motorways and open roads. Speeding drivers will be fined on the spot. If you are fined you will be issued with a ticket, this should be taken to the car hire company along with your payment.
Number of passengers
Our rental cars are insured for a maximum number of passengers. We cannot accept responsibility if the vehicle is not large enough to fit all passengers and luggage on arrival if details were not supplied at the time of booking. In the interest of safety this number must not be exceeded and if exceeded the insurance will be invalidated.
Car Hire, Legal Requirements:
If you are unfortunate enough to have an accident, or if your car is damaged in any way, it is necessary to call the Police to the scene before moving the vehicle as the insurance is void without a Police report. You must also contact our local car rental partner immediately, and take a photograph (if possible), before doing anything else.
You will need to carry your passport and drivers' licence along with the vehicle documentation and licence (normally found in the glove compartment or drivers visor). The Jandarma (Traffic Police) stop cars as a matter of routine and if you are stopped, you will be expected to produce this documentation.
If you are dissatisfied in any way with the standard of your booked car, you must advise our local car rental partner immediately and Baransel Villas in writing within 28 days of your return.
